OU and Kansas living up to the billing, great game. 68-60 Sooners with 8 to play.

Also recommend listening to Metallica's Master of Puppets instead of Dickie V's call. win win

I am also a avid listener of the metal genre.

You could almost associate the entire Master of Puppets album to IU Basketball.

1.  Battery - What IU does to the cupcakes on their schedule.

2.  Master of Puppets - Fred Glass

3.  The Thing That Should Not Be - You can fill in the blanks here.

4.  Sanitarium - The IU fanbase this year.

5.  Disposable Heroes - Colin Hartman, Max, O.G. and Juwan

6.  Leper Messiah - Again you can fill in the blanks on this one.

7.  Orion - Nothing to tie here.  Just a great instrumental.

8.  Damage Inc. - What our offense does to teams...and what teams do to our defense.

I celebrate the whole Metallica catalog.

Can we talk about OU running absolutely ZERO offense the entire game and still putting up 106 vs #1? Good lord lol.

I watched that game and thought many times that Kansas' Defense looked VERY tough.... yet they give up 106 (although around 80 had it not been for triple OT.) I am not happy if IU gives up 80 points in a game, even in a win, even against another top team.... but man I would love to have their defense...

Sooners on the other hand looked completely lost on Defense and Kansas got anything they wanted any time they wanted it (it seemed to me). Yet their offense carried them like IU's can do... Hieldt was unstoppable but the other players had some serious offense game as well.

Oklahoma could have taken them if they'd distributed their points a little more evenly. Hieldt was unstoppable, but eventually he was the only one scoring and Kansas could pickup on him. I mean, in 60 minutes of play, their top 4 scorers scored: 46, 27, 14, 10. That's a huge differential. Then, if you lose say, the second highest scorer because of foul trouble, you can't makeup his production.

Great game though, I look forward to seeing them play again and will probably acquire it to rewatch it more closely (when I don't feel the pressure from my wife because "Oh, I just want to watch one non-Indiana game on the big TV" became a three hour affair).

Watching the OU vs KU game last night, I kept thinking Khadeem Lattin played the type of game Perea should have been able to implement for the Hoosiers. An athletic rim enforcer. Still amazes me that he didn't work out.

Cats down double digits, Simmons sitting a long time, Cal crying the whole game. The ESPN Simmons love fest is getting a bit annoying.

I agree, I know he is a special player and all, but it is non-stop. Dakich talked about him at least 4 times, and it's not just him. Everyone now loves this kid.
