A lotta smoke around sexual and physical assault cover ups with MSU basketball.  Still no fire as the media pundits continue to gush over what great character Izzo has. This makes me angrier and more disenchanted with the sport than all of the payola and recruiting cheating that goes on. Real victims in this stuff. Here’s to hoping justice is served and it catches up with him and the program.  Last time it came up he had hard questions at a presser or two and it was over.

He’ll wear a teal ribbon and speak how sorry he is for the victims for a week or two then bam! it’ll be over until it comes up again.

ESPN had them at #2. Not sure they are that high. I was never that impressed with them. I am sure they will be better next year. Maybe Sweet 16?

Wade is reinstated as LSU coach

 

LSU has reinstated Will Wade as its men’s basketball coach. A statement from the school said Wade met with LSU and NCAA officials on Friday and denied any wrongdoing.

 

“I am humbled and grateful to be back at LSU,” Wade said.

Just completely ridiculous.

I don’t even know what to root for anymore.

I want the best players, but they all get paid and don’t really care who they play for.

I think if you don’t get the best players, you need a fantastic coach and/or luck. Or a coach that can find hidden gems at a remarkable rate.

Do we have that coach? Can Archie be the Adidas version of Sean Miller?

Idk but college basketball and the NCAA is depressing......mostly because Indiana doesn’t seem to win those recruiting battles. Sans Romeo.
