I guess I should have prefaced it with "allegedly", but to me it has legs since I was first made aware by comments made under articles on ESPN.com back when they were allowed, and then brought up by anonymous message board posters who were VU fans on Rivals at separate times. One of the most bizarre moves I have seen in a long time...and THEY LOST! Your team has lost 8 of the last 10 and you just say...nah I'm not coaching today. I know he has been recovering, but he resumed coaching in December, so this decision wasn't related to that. Quote
