Interesting if you are on the outside looking in you are probably screaming how can a top 10 McDonald’s AA get a DNP but if you followed Indiana high school basketball you new despite the high ranking he was always going to be a project.    Anytime in regular high school games against teams without high major talents you are putting up 0 there is a problem.   Still think he can be good down the road but I doubt it will be with Sparty

I don't think he has the mentality it takes to become good at the college level or beyond.

I never thought he was a fit to play for Izzo. I saw him in person 3 or 4 times and his motor was pretty low and he thought  he is a 3 point shooter

The ending of this Arkansas/Memphis is crazy.   They keep going to the monitor after every attempt to get the ball in.   Memphis up 6 with 9 sec to go.    Clock was at 13 sec and after 3 straight monitor reviews we have only moved 4 sec.    lol

His best position is probably a 4 that only plays on the perimeter.   He never like to play down low.  Most see his size and wants him down low and that is why his upside is so high because if he ever wanted to bang downlow with his perimeter skills he would be deadly.  However if the kid doesn’t want to bang he isn’t going to bang so you might as well try to utilize his beat skill.   Cathedral knew what he could do and what his limitations.  were.  They had no problem sitting him in the second half and had no problem running sets for him to shoot the ball.   Very intriguing prospect that woody and others seem to move on from.   Izzo never wavered    He still wanted him when he was throwing up 0 burgers against non D1 talent

TBH, I think Izzo takes anybody he can get from Indiana just to keep the pipeline flowing.

Interesting story:

After he registered a zero in a high school game, me and others posted “hard pass” for IU. Which prompted posting by his family on the board that we would all be proven wrong in a hurry.

They soon thereafter pulled the posts, but it was not a good look.

Colorado State should be entering top 25 on Monday.  I was really discouraged when IU struggled against Wright State after Colorado State had destroyed them, but the Rams are legit.  21 points over Creighton today.

Their next game is a home game against Colorado.  Probably a good one to watch because both programs are pretty good this year and they hate each other.

Stevens is a stud pg for them.  Probably the best pg no one knows about.   Another example of kid running his own race.    Not ranked and stayed 4 years most probably overlooked him because he is 5’11.    Love watching him play     Great players everywhere

Weren't they pretty bad last year, which prompted Knecht to move on?

18-3 run for FAU.   They are up 12 now

A&M with a run to cut the lead to 2 at half.  A&M chirps too much.    Cost them 4 pts so far on technical foul FTs

Yeah I want that to work out so badly. I'm hopeful last year wasn't a one hit wonder for him/FAU and they're able to rack up lots of wins and do well in the NCAAT again.

Worried about Louisville being ready for him and into him much sooner. And UL is very close to Greene County too.

Still; gotta think that IU is his dream job, and he’s only 46.
