And another thing, I’m pretty ******* tired of people slobbering over Matt Painter.

Do you wanna know what extraordinary roster construction looks like? Stop looking at Matt ******* Painter and start looking at Mike Woodson

Maybe it’s the beers you are drinking but that is really a cruel, unnecessary, over the top, libelous, comment comparing someone (or anyone) to Archie.

Archie Miller is a better X and O coach than Penny Hardaway.  I'm not giving Archie any credit there, it's just that Penny Hardaway is that bad.  In his four years there, they have the number one recruiting class in the nation twice.  They've been to the NCAA tournament once and won one game.

So better results than Archie all around?

I retract my statement.

Braden Smith will not be a massive thorn in our side. He will be more like a scurvy tiny flea that Xavier Johnson and Jalen Hood Schifino will swat away as an annoyance.

After two games, both against 300+ Kenpom teams, the great Braden Smith is now a total of 3–10 FG, four assists and eight turnovers.

And they really have no other option at the point guard position.

I'll give him his time. Purdues best case scenario is he becomes Jordy Hulls. I don't think anyone said he'd be Hood-Schifino, though they may end up shooting the same percentages. I think Purdue fans are going for another Chris Kramer.

I didn’t say this year ….get back to me in 2 years when he is craft or bohannon’ing us….I’m a HS fan and aside from Xavier’s little off court joy ride I’ve been pretty thrilled with him so I’m not suggesting a trade or remorse regarding who we have I just would have liked smith in red instead of black and it won’t be fun to play him as he develops ….his sign and athleticism won’t make him a huge impact guy as a freshman but he will be solid and he’s the type that his game will grow as he begins to take a leadership position with that team

A better shooting and ball handling ( just better offensively ) Chris kramer I think is a great comp

Yeah, let’s see how it goes when they play teams that can run and pick and roll him off the floor.

That won’t help, but for me?

Even more I think they’re just gonna wear the kid out.

They’re already playing him high minutes against cupcakes just to generate a little offense. If he’s going 30 mpg+ at 7’4” it’s potentially an injury or energy problem with constant B1G battles.
