rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Monmouth beats UCLA in OT at Pauley This has to drive Alford crazy. It seems like UCLA just usually doesn't play very hard whether it's under Lavin, Howland, Alford, or whoever. I don't know if it's that laid back California attitude or all the smog or what--but they should NEVER lose to Monmouth at home. Too much Hollywood and not enough grit. On a positive note--Bryce Alford did have 22 points. Still want to see Steve be successful but these kind of losses hurt his rep. And T.J. Leaf---you stiffed us for this????? Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Well Wisconsin lost last night also. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Ben Simmons is the real deal. Looks like a man among boys. KingPG21 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Ben Simmons is the real deal. Looks like a man among boys. Probably wouldn't take another player in the college game above him. Special talent Quote
coonhounds Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Murray did play, and looked REALLY goodI clearly over indulged in alcohol during last night's game judging by the fact I have no idea how I read that wrong and my massive headache. First game mistakes I will learn lol ALASKA HOOSIER, Hutch89 and Kepner 3 Quote

rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Can you imagine Wisconsin---they hung their Final 4 Banner before their loss. Their fans were probably like 'Fire Bo"--and then they thought about it and said "never mind---no one else could win here!" LOL mjtavier and Kepner 2 Quote

MartintheMopMan Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Did anyone watch it? What even happened? The box score is outrageous. They shot 77% for 2 and 30% from 3 (with 26 threes taken!). A 96 possession game. Wow. Quote

MartintheMopMan Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Going by the IndyStar article, the Citadel coach is trying the old Paul Westhead approach; chucking up shots within 6 seconds. From the 3 too. They shot 21% from three and took 47 threes! That's insane! No player who played more than 15 minutes on Butler had less than double digit scoring, but they also posted zero double doubles. Wow! I hope someone recorded it and is uploading it to the internet. It's going to be fascinating to watch IUsafety 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Butler's margin of victory was greater than the total points scored by The Citadel. Quote
