theriverpilot Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I feel like every time I see Maryland on TV they're playing at home. I get so tired of Cauley-Stein staring someone down after he blocks a guard's shot. Dude, you're 7'0 feet tall. You're SUPPOSED to do that! Jketch, HoosierAloha, LockdownD and 3 others 6 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Kentucky is so darn good. Lyles is incredible. Ughhhhhh! In related news Cliff Alexander is sitting due to eligibility concerns. ctown2grhoosier Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Didn't anyone watch Northern Iowa and Wichita State? Wichita is really good. Play great team basketball. Unbelievably well coached. Would have to say Marshall would be at the top of my list to replace Crean at this point. The Baby Bull and Happydaze 2 Quote

He may not need stars to win. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Haven't seen Joe Lunardi in a while. He's been shopping at Morrie's Wigs. Ha, just saw him on ESPN. He reminds me of my high school gym teacher. We go outside on a windy day and watch out. His toupee would blow all over the place. IUsafety, ALASKA HOOSIER, theriverpilot and 1 other 4 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 He is like Stevens. Recruits to the kids that can do what HE wants not what they want. I want a coach that can recruit both the unheralded kids and blue chips that can play in his system. He develops both and has success at IU. I think in this day and age you need to show that you can put kids in the NBA. Also it gives fans someone to follow after college. Napleshoosier and 323SGrant 2 Quote
BGleas Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I watched a lot of this game, and to be honest other than the UK tourney game last year I haven't watched a ton of WSU the last few years. Well, I came away really impressed. Marshall wants to play an uptempo style, but also puts a great emphasis on defense. I saw a guy like Ron Baker putting a ton of pressure on the ball defensively, and while Baker is somewhat athletic, is he any more athletic than guys like Troy, JBJ, RoJo, Stan, etc? I was really impressed with Marshall and WSU. Didn't anyone watch Northern Iowa and Wichita State? Wichita is really good. Play great team basketball. Unbelievably well coached.
