Didn't anyone watch Northern Iowa and Wichita State? Wichita is really good. Play great team basketball. Unbelievably well coached. Would have to say Marshall would be at the top of my list to replace Crean at this point.

Only concern is can he recruit at a high level. His teams are solid on both sides of the ball. He may not need stars to win.

He is like Stevens. Recruits to the kids that can do what HE wants not what they want.

I want a coach that can recruit both the unheralded kids and blue chips that can play in his system. He develops both and has success at IU. I think in this day and age you need to show that you can put kids in the NBA. Also it gives fans someone to follow after college.

I watched a lot of this game, and to be honest other than the UK tourney game last year I haven't watched a ton of WSU the last few years. Well, I came away really impressed. Marshall wants to play an uptempo style, but also puts a great emphasis on defense. I saw a guy like Ron Baker putting a ton of pressure on the ball defensively, and while Baker is somewhat athletic, is he any more athletic than guys like Troy, JBJ, RoJo, Stan, etc?

I was really impressed with Marshall and WSU.

Update for everyone: AZ won, by the way. Now Gonzaga down 8 to BYU with 10 left.
