I mean, hell, if the best we can do against them is split, I hope at least football goes well. HAHAHAAHHAAAAA Better than 0-2 for sure. One of our 2 or 3 good wins. Football has been spectacular. Doesn’t change that we are bubblicious with a non competitive team at the top level. We are 1 or 2 games away of missing the dance. But that’s the standard this year, so hopefully we fulfill it. So if they can do it there’s no excuses for IU next year. But there will be. Imo we don’t have the funds or momentum to build a top 5 roster. Or top 10. Just gotta get in that perennial top 25 range and go from there. Michigan spent big bucks, plus had a lot of guys knocking on their door. We won’t have that, at that level. Quote

I was kinda kidding, but not really. They will surely take some joy when they (likely) beat us at their home to split. But I’ll file it under “you win some and lose some” with one eye towards our one month old undefeated football season. It’s an incredible time to be a Hoosier, and a “just okay” time to be a Boilerer. Them winning a home bball game with their good but not great team is like a teensy speck of dust in my very happy eyes. Pagoda 1 Quote

Shooter Posted yesterday at 02:27 AM Posted yesterday at 02:27 AM Purdue is still a very good team, but they look far from the preseason #1 they were billed as. That's twice this season they've been dominated on their home court. J34 1 Quote

Yaxel was a projected first round pick and they paid him enough to skip that. Other transfers who were contributors last season at North Carolina, Illinois, and UCLA.
