Alford Bailey Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Interesting ESPN mentioned Cody Zeller is the highest draft pick on the Heat roster. Quote

Technically it's Vic but I'm assuming he isn't counted being out. But, yea Cody was 4th. Kevin Love was 5th in 2008. Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 Heat completely dismantled the C’s tonight. That said this looks like Denver’s year. If the Heat make it a series that will be impressive BtownStrength and Stuhoo 2 Quote
fwgreenway Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 Can't help but wonder what would of happened if Reggie Miller had just stayed with some version of the plaid jacket for game 7? HoosierHoopster 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Probably time for people to consider Jokic as the best player in the NBA J34, Stuhoo, Demo and 3 others 6 Quote

So good with Portland, but he is always a "what could have been" if he spent more time in the NBA. Back to Jokic, should have won 3 straight MVP but the BS excuse of "voter fatigue" got in the way. Hovadipo Posted June 15, 2023 Author Posted June 15, 2023 Ausar Thompson is getting a workout with the Pacers. If Walker is off the board and Ausar is still there at 7, I'd be ecstatic. That type of potential makes me giddy. Demo 1 Quote

I mean, 90% of ESPN's coverage of the NBA this year was "WHAT IS LEBRON DOING?" pr "THERE ARE TEAMS OTHER THAN THE LAKERS??????" J34 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
KingPG21 Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 I really don't buy the Brandon Miller love. I think he is fine. But people calling him a "clear franchise player" has me really confused. Personally I'd rather have Scoot by a mile, and I'd take Amen before Miller. I'd seriously consider Walker over him too Quote

Read a great story on his background recently and how his manager (who became a close friend) helped him take his unselfish, team-first approach and, against his pushback that he could be an MVP, just focus on the work as opposed to (his manager's push) becoming an MVP. Lost 10, then 20 then 30 pounds, added, to his already exceptional game (including his court vision), an elite physique. He was absolutely unstoppable this year. In my mind he's clearly the best player in the League. And maybe one of the easiest guys to root for. Demo and J34 2 Quote

No way a team couldn't find a spot for a dude with that kind of natural rebounding ability. How long of a career did Reggie Evans have? Dudes just set screens, rebounded and did dirty work. Not enough of those dudes in the league anymore. And Oscar has a good 15-18 ft jumper. ALASKA HOOSIER and J34 2 Quote

All it takes is that one GM(and to some extent coach), to say screw it, I'm taking Edey, and all you other guys can try to figure out how to stop my guy in the post. My guy shoots 60%-75% from the block, your guy shoots 35%-45% from 3. I love the long, athletic wings, but I'd love to have that traditional 5 back in play. Where would Olajuwon, Ewing, Robinson, Shaq be in today's game. Would Manute Bol be drafted ahead of these guys lol Quote

I always kind of saw a lot of Waymen Tisdale in Trayce. He had a hell of a career, living in that 15' and in range. Quote
