I think you have to play him if he can play.  This isn’t a Rourke situation to our knowledge.  But would be amazing to figure something out and have a big lead at half to get him out of there

True if we can sit him at half that would be ideal. I think we will find out the injury after the season. He’s been inaccurate a lot so I’m wondering if this has been ongoing and got worse after OSU.

Yeah he had some issues then he got roughed up against Nebraska. Wonder if that injury caused the issues.

....pretty big fella behind center. We've got to keep pressure on him.

Drake Lindsey is a classic, big-armed pocket passer who fits the traditional, pro-style quarterback archetype. Standing at 6'5" and 230 lbs, he is not a dual-threat quarterback and rarely relies on his legs to pick up yards on the ground.

Minnesota’s offense is structured around a strong rushing attack, reliable wide receivers, and an experienced offensive line to support pocket-passer Drake Lindsey. Under head coach P.J. Fleck, the Golden Gophers lean heavily on play-action execution, using their playmakers to stretch defenses.

At least no Gus Johnson this week

I like Gus. His voice has an “big game” tone to it, he isn’t painfully bland like so many of the announcers and he loves IU. Loved his call when Cooper caught the ball vs PSU, even though he had no voice left. LOL

Also, he still calls the Hall the “Carnegie Hall of basketball” even though we have sucked for most of the past 30 years.

I like turtles.

Gus Johnson is annoying. John Madden level annoying. Joe Buck level annoying. I mute the tv and listen to Fisch.

I like all four of those guys!

And to show that I’m not solely pumping sunshine, I absolutely detest most Big Ten Network basketball announcers except for the outstanding Jess Settles.

I've grown to accept Gus Johnson.

Also mentions the pass game wasn't very good in practice last week but they expect it to be better this week.

Bar is really low. Suppose the drop in competition, OSU and UM are both great defenses, Minny just isn't. If Hoover is actually hurt, like why are we trotting him out there, and running him on the game winning play. Either they have no faith in Wilson or idk

OK.  I agree.  However,

  • Indiana: The Hoosiers boast one of the country's most suffocating defenses, ranking second nationally in scoring defense (12.0 points allowed per game) and fourth against the run. They are significantly stingier across the board than Minnesota.
  • Ohio State: The Buckeyes remain an elite defensive powerhouse, giving up just 13.4 points per game and locking down opponents near the top of the Big Ten.
  • Michigan: Despite the Wolverines' offensive struggles, their defense is elite, allowing only 15.7 points per game and ranking near the top in passing yards allowed.
  • Minnesota: The Golden Gophers are decent—surrendering 20.1 points per game (34th in the FBS) and excelling specifically in pass defense (11th nationally at 152.1 yards allowed per game). However, they have been noticeably softer against the run (123.6 rushing yards allowed per game) and rank lower in overall scoring and yardage defense than all three rivals.
