Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 26 Posted September 26 IUFB travels to Pissantaway, NJ to face the Scarlet Pumpernickels (1-3) (0-1). Televised on basic Big Ten Network. Rutger's lone victory came last night in a 58-7 win over Howard. They've lost to UMass (37-21), Boston College (28-21) and USC (42-35). The Man, The Legend, Don Fischer Live Stats Stuhoo 1 Quote
Pagoda Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Okay, so this opens up at IU -23.5, O/U 54.5. Once again the betting markets are fairly positive on us all things considered. Fingers crossed we play better. Quote
ronzo4IU Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Do we know Turbo’s ETA? Looks like we are down to Beebe/Cuono for a while. Quote

The next injury report comes out Wednesday night. If he's doubtful and not out that would be a best case imo. While the prognosis was positive, that was still a nasty high ankle sprain. Stuff like that always seems to take a few weeks. I think OSU is best case for a return. But that's a total guess. skhoosier2 and ronzo4IU 2 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Reading through Unthinkable to unstoppable and they talk about how Cig absolutely knew how the Illinois, Iowa and Oregon games were gonna look. Cig tried to tell us we were in for a rock fight with Northwestern and people didn’t want to hear it. Curious what he says about Rutgers Stuhoo, skhoosier2, FWHoosier84 and 1 other 2 2 Quote

Curious what he says about Rutgers Doubt he’ll do it directly but if he randomly drops something, “Tyler Cherry’s had a good week of practice” into his presser that might be a tip-off that he sees a beating coming. Stuhoo Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Rugter has a pretty stationary quarterback. That'll be comforting after Chiles. Hoosier987 and skhoosier2 2 Quote
TTT Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Assuming Daily and Wyatt playing and probably for rest of season…. their game and rest of defense should improve immensely if that is solidly resolved. Quote
Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Secondary better be ready or Duff will go for 200 yards. Big test for them. Quote
Home Jersey Posted September 28 Posted September 28 This past week was weird with the game being on a Friday and the odd start to the game. Braun is a good coach, NW is much better than Rutgers. I honestly think this game is smooth cruising for a big W. Good opportunity coming off a hard fought Big Ten win to prepare for Nebraska and then OSU. And northwestern being a matchup nightmare on offense and defense I’m not worried yet. Northwestern is like a more dynamic Iowa. Home Jersey, FWHoosier84 and ronzo4IU 3 Quote
Home Jersey Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Hopefully Turbo sits out Rutgers and comes back even if only for a few snaps against Nebraska and OSU. Would be nice for someone behind Beebe to step up this week. Artie86, ALASKA HOOSIER, Brass Cannon and 2 others 5 Quote

Popular Post Pagoda Posted September 28 Popular Post Posted September 28 Great news. I’d avoid playing him but this point is he isn’t too badly hurt. And Hardy should be good to go this week. Home Jersey, Jeff Flabjohns, DChoosier and 5 others 7 1 Quote
