Purdue fans leaning quite heavily on "we've always lost exhibition games and look how it turned out", as well as "Painter doesn't scout or prep for exhibitions so he can identify weaknesses".

One of my favorites, though: "UConn was actually trying while Painter is just trying to get guys some reps."

So, the other night when Fort Wayne’s guards were getting literally anywhere on the floor they wanted against Purdue’s guards Painter was just working on defensive rotations.

Id love to know the dollar amount and if it’s exactly the same as Purdue gets.  I guess we will never know.
