I am disappointed that we will miss the tournament, but we were not getting past the first round anyway! CDV gets another shot next season and if he doesn’t put together a contender he won’t be her much longer!

After tonight, Dolson needs to seriously think about the direction of this program. I realize the situation Devries inherited was dire, but this team is not without talent, and the mistakes they made tonight are the same mistakes they've made all season. Poor fundamentals, excessive dribbling, excessive reliance on the three point shot, questionable combinations on the floor, questionable game management. Periodically hot shooting has been the only thing covering up a multitude of sins.

It’s sad because of how much we’ve (fans and program) invested in that time to achieve the same results as a school that doesn’t care at all about basketball.

Until Devries shows he can identify talent and elevate them over a season do NOT increase the NIL budget. Just wasting money. Give it to Moren or Cig.

No preseason hype. No momentum.  Just was never confident we were good. Hard to get excited when you already know we whiffed on the roster build.  Then the season plays out about exactly like you’d expect it. Living on the bubble. And then going to miss. 
 

The burners defending Woodson for 2 seasons was awful too. But those teams at least felt like the could be good for moments.  All 3 seasons virtually identical.  And all of them suck.  

This has been much more tolerable to me than the Woodson and Archie years. I can actually see shooters again. Team is terribly flawed and he will get this offseason to right the ship. Let’s hope that he does. I don’t think he should be fired now and think he gets 3 years. Would feel a lot better if we win 3 more games but I don’t know if we win again.

Feels like every single game there’s at least a 5 minute drought where we don’t have a fg. It’s so frustrating when we become stagnant and don’t even try and attack the basket when our 3s aren’t falling. Getting harder for me to keep tuning in

Fran could officiate a basketball game with a blindfold around his eyes better than most officials 

 

that says a lot about the incompetency of modern officating in sports

I know everyone loves how hard enright plays but 0 points from your starting PG playing 25 minutes a game puts you at such a disadvantage. He has 3 points combined the last 3 games:/
