I know Tucker is very unathletic and has about a 2-inch vertical, but why is he so averse to driving to the hole.

You don't have to go all the way for a layup, but damn --  you're 6-foot-7. Shoot a little teardrop or a little floater or a little pull-up jumper.

Smith makes a living on those pull-up jumpers and he's 5-foot-2.

Smiths jump stop, big pump fake as the defender flies by right into a smooth jumper is a nice move. I really hate to admit it but it is. We’d love it if an IU player was doing it.

Very predictably pathetic.  Was clear we didn’t have a chance in this one.

we don’t deserve to dance.  Maybe we will, maybe we won’t, but we should not get the chance.

I truly hope DeVries and company learned something this year.

For the love of all things, put together a better roster next season.  A top 25 roster.

I’ll say it again.., We need 5 starters next year. Spend the money on 5 Big 10 starting level players

I think that’s what everyone is planning.  Dorn and Miles can be bench players. Like players 8 and 9 off the bench. Don’t need to get rid if them and then overpay for more players.

I doubt we do.  But yes, we will need a miracle to build an excitement worthy team for next year.

I’m optimistic we will get some players. Will it be built to win at a high enough level is the question. Looking forward to portal season though.

Why not?   Plenty of teams that can’t compete against the upper level teams make the tourney.   Does a TCU team that has a home loss to New Orleans deserve to be in besides IU?    Got to field 68 teams and if IU is one of them even though they have flaws then so be it.  It is what it is.    They played 2 projected 2 seeds on the road and got blasted by 2 teams that are better then they are

What’s wild is that this is true and the mood I’m in all I can think about is how easy it is for a high major team to make the tournament! You don’t even have to be very good, just mediocre…and yet it’s been such a struggle for 10 years

Yes that's why the last decade of Indiana hoops has been institutional neglect.   It isn't  that hard.
