Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 7 Posted February 7 The Quacks (8-15) (1-11) came close to beating the Toiletmakers at Mackey earlier today but came up short. We need to make sure their Indiana road trip ends 0-2. They average 72 ppg with a -3 margin shooting 42% FG and 32% on 3s. They average 36 rpg with a +2 margin so not an overwhelming force on the boards. 4 players average double figures led by Nate Bittle at 16.8 ppg. On significant volume, Takai Simpkins is a 36% 3-point shooter followed by Jackson Shelstad at 31%. Kwame Evans (one time IU offer) is their leading rebounder at 7.1/game. As a team, their assist/turnover ratio is just 1.1, but Shelstad leads the team with 59 assists in only 12 games vs. just 21 turnovers. Our two recent overtime games demonstrated this team won't quit and we should be able to roast the ducks Monday night. Radio Live Stats mamasa 1 Quote

Shooter Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Oregon is 1-11 in conference, and had lost 7 in a row by double digits until today. We need to take care of business Monday. HoosierHoopster, DChoosier, 68Hoosier and 3 others 6 Quote

I think by most projections that gets us in easily. In fact, I think most projections probably have us in by just winning the 3 games we’ll be favored in at home as we will likely be a slight underdog to MSU at home. That makes this game and NW and Minny really important while the other ones bonuses if we pull one out. This probably the first time we’ve been in this spot since TJDs senior year. If they lose to Sparty they would probably be right on the cut line and it would depend on what others around them do and how many bid stealers there end up being 68Hoosier 1 Quote

To me it seems like four out of seven in any way and we’re safely in. Three out of seven and we’re sweating. BtownStrength 1 Quote

Brass Cannon Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I know Cig is a busy man but he’s been a part of beating Oregon on the road and on a neutral field. Maybe go for the trifecta…. WayneFleekHoosier and str8baller 1 1 Quote

I know they have some injuries this season that derailed their season, but I’ve seen some fans saying it’s time for a new face to lead the program. Quote

I guess the Oregon team came to Bloomington early and the he and the team were spotted having a good time at the bars. Seems to just be that. Hoosierfanyuh and Pagoda 1 1 Quote

Pagoda Posted February 9 Posted February 9 They had one day in between games and their players were out? Good. I wouldn’t be happy to hear that as an Oregon fan, especially with their nine game losing streak. Demo 1 Quote

Everything about this one just screams that if you get out and really put it on them early and give them no oxygen you can get them to quit. CSP, Pagoda, Home Jersey and 1 other 4 Quote
str8baller Posted February 9 Posted February 9 IU currently a 10.5pt favorite. I only post that to agree with others that the general sentiment is IU should hand it to these guys tonight. Quote
