Applies to most games we play lol

That’s for sure. A couple like Iowa it doesn’t but definitely most teams it applies.

But there are games like MSU where we have little hope of shaking free from their D to get open shots. That shouldn’t be the case with Purdue especially if they insist on going big and playing Loyer 30min.

We haven’t really got a chance to see Bailey hang on the perimeter to shoot 3’s. Obviously they are going to try and get the two clumsy giants into PnR’s but they’ll just drop giving us mid range jumpers. I’d like to see Bailey outside as a shooting threat and then spam a bunch of guard/wing PnR’s with whoever Loyer, and to a lesser extent Smith, are guarding. They’ll switch but Conerway and Wilkerson should have no trouble getting into the lane vs Loyer.

My understanding is one point per sport. So in football, it's one game for one point. Basketball (and some other sports), it's .5 points per game, a full point for the season (2 games).

My feeble attempt at humor failed.  I was referring specifically to the managers game wishfully hoping we could at least a half point since I have no hope we'll win either of the men's games and possibly the women's as well and we'll need all the help we can find to maintain our Cup winning streak.  And your understanding is correct on how points are won.

Jason Gardner Jr. will be at tonight's game but I'm paranoid enough to worry that although he's there at our invitation, he's really more interested in watching PUke.  I remember all the IU games 'Kory Flibunga' attended and we never could get an OV from him.

I hope this is a big game for Trent to get back on track. Not a dig a Sisley...he's a freshman and can be expected to hit a rough/low point in a season but he should be amped for this game and if his shot is working could really help with spacing and opening things up by drawing out TKR/Cluff/Meyer

This is the least amount of enthusiasm for our headline rival game I’ve seen. Hopefully we fire on all cylinders and pull the upset!!

If this game didn't basically start tomorrow I'd be heading down. Tickets are dirt cheap as far as IU Purdue games go.

Purdue fans have been traveling incredibly well this year.  Sadly, won’t be shocked to not only lose but have a Purdue cheering block audible to the TV audience.

Man, I hope we can pull this one out for so many reasons, but mostly just to keep the hope alive of making the tournament.  We are hanging in there by a thread and this would give us finally a good win.

Less than confident, but will definitely be watching this one. If we go down 15, the Fast forward/power button is getting activated.

Yea…having a top 10 Purdue come to town and getting relegated to the 9pm slot is certainly something. Hopefully lots of students attend.

I’m sure they’re excited . It might be their best chance to see a national title trophy in a while.

Purdue-Hoosiers at 9pm on a Tuesday should be a jailable offense!

8:pm CST for me is bad enough.

I thought this game was at Purdue. Protect that home court Boys!!

GO HOOSIERS!!

Word on 247 is they plan to honor the UNDEFEATED AND NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IU FOOTBALL TEAM prior to the start of the game.  For those who will be there make sure your butt is in your seat probably 15 min. before tipoff.  For those dealing with Peacock probably won't see a thing but you never know.

I’m glad whatever Boilee Purdoo fans travel down for the game get to enjoy this.

If they can hogtie Hummel and carry his no final four a$$ out that'd be great.
