I want IU to be a championship level program. There’s only about 5-10 of them at any given time. I think Devries can improve but can’t see anyone that starts this bad get to that level. Hope it’s so but the odds aren’t with us Quote

I just want to watch a tournament quality team that will play a game in March Madness where I believe we might win a game or 2. Indiana being out of tourney contention in the middle of January isn’t what you want when you hire a new coach. I think Archie year 1 was when we went on a 0-12 stretch in Jan right? Or was that year 2 Quote

I want to win but I want to win with a good style. A game here or there is fine. I can’t do that every game. I’ve been to 1 game since Cream was fired. If IU would win and make a final four I’d watch them in the tournament but not game in and game out. Quote
JF87 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 We need to string 4-5 stops together in a row. I haven't seen anything today that makes me thing that will happen. Quote

Win the title on Monday, then get basketball a roster to compete for a final four. Yes it can be done in 1 offseason. I don’t see a case to give CDD more money if this keeps up. If he can’t make the tourney with $10M, pretty unlikely he does much with $15M. Keep that money with football, they know what they’re doing. MBB can stay at $10M until CDD or some other bball coach proves they know what they’re doing. Just my opinion. Hoosierfan2017, str8baller, gfeltner28 and 1 other 4 Quote

It’s these same shitty hires over and over. Sick of excuses. Quote

He’s putting his resume out there one game at a time. Who is signing up to be a bottom half B1G team? IUHoosier5 1 Quote

Team does the best when it’s moving and screening. But that is very intermittent. Continues to allow the chuck and duck. Crap like that isn’t going to get it done. Agree 100%. I loved watching the film breakdown of this teams offensive movement, screening, cutting with purpose, etc but…..why don’t we do that very often anymore??? Quote

He made a tactical mistake not bringing WV players with him. I like Sisley and the freshmen coming next year. If he learned from his mistakes in the roster building this year (over valued his son) among some others, then we can be good as early as next season. None of the first year guys have done anything great this year. Took the Florida coach 3 years, with year 1 not being good. Dave from Dayton 1 Quote
TadQueasy Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Well this is frustrating. Should not be losing to Iowa at home this year. And makes it appear as if we choose the wrong duo. We went with Devries squared when we could have had Ben M/Stirtz Quote
