Since today was so enjoyable NOT, let’s see what happens Tuesday night at Michigan State (14-2) (4-1).  Its two losses coming at home to Duke and on the road at Nebraska.  The Spartans average 79 ppg with a +14 margin shooting 47% FG and 36% on 3s.  They average 43 rpg with a +14 margin.  4 players average in double figures led by Jaxon Kohler at 14.3 ppg and he's a 53% 3-point shooter.  Kohler is also their leading rebounder at 10.1/gm.  Although we did hold our own today in rebounding against Nebraska, I've little confidence we'll be able to do that against the Spartans and I'm not optimistic we can beat them in their house.

I'm counting 10 more guaranteed losses for this team. That puts them at 8-12. DeVries better be hitting the recruiting trail hard and change the size and athlete he's getting.

Games played on the court. If you're confident the 10 losses you see are guaranteed, list em and let us know so we can see how good of a crystal ball you're working with lol

If I had to guess...

at Michigan State

Iowa

at Michigan

Purdue

at UCLA

at USC

Wisconsin

at Illinois

at Purdue

Michigan State

I'd say it's 50/50 at best to beat at Rutgers, Northwestern, Oregon, Minnesota, at Ohio State

I think we beat Iowa and will have a good shot for W’s v Wisconsin and MSU.

We just blew a 10 point second half  lead ag Nebraska. That was bad — but can’t ignore that we came back from a first half deficit and took the 10 point lead in the second- we lost down the stretch but had the ability to win. Neb is undefeated for a reason.

I think we’re better than the second half falloff reflects. That’s a we’ll see in the end but I still see a team, based on their play, that’s fully capable of winning more of these gamex

I wouldn’t put home vs Iowa, Wisconsin and probably not even Purdue as guaranteed or even likely losses. Iowa and UW should be solid matchup-wise for us.

Those other 7 are going to be really tough putts though.

I see why you're not in the prediction league, hahaha.

ESPN analytics giving us about a 35% chance to win.  That's a lot better than I would've expected.  A win would right a lot of wrongs.

ESPN analytics had Nebraska with a 30% chance to win at IU

Peacock...If you get a subscription deal, be sure to cancel just before the year is up or it may automatically jump to the full price in month 13, if I remember correctly.  Not sure if the below information is all correct.  And there likely will be some football and other sports on Peacock throughout the year.

There are 5 Indiana basketball games in a month that are only on Peacock.
  • Jan. 13 (Tue.) • 7 p.m. • Peacock
  • at Michigan State
  • Jan. 20 (Tue.) • 7 p.m. • Peacock
  • at Michigan
  • Jan. 27 (Tue.) • 9 p.m. • Peacock
  • vs. Purdue
  • Jan. 31 (Sat.) • 5 p.m. • Peacock
  • at UCLA
  • Feb. 3 (Tue.) • 10 p.m. • Peacock
  • at USC
From AI and other sources:
Peacock deals in early 2026 focus on annual plans for savings, discounts for students, teachers, first responders, and military (around $2.99-$3.99/month for a year), and potential free access via other subscriptions like Walmart+ or Instacart+, Youtube TV+, Infinity+, plus bundles with Apple TV; check Peacock's site for official student/teacher offers, ID.me for military/first responder verification, and tech sites like Syracuse.com for current promotions and bundles.
