Alabama’s star DL, LT Overton, has been cleared to play for the game, he missed a couple of games including last week. He will help them a lot.

Yeah he is damn good. Will be more difficult with him on their line.

Interesting tidbit from the Hoosier Huddle guys on Rose Bowl ticket sales:

Per TickPick's data, ~25% of tickets purchased have been from Indiana, ~18% from California, and ~12% from Illinois.  I'm not seeing a certain state in the top-3 at the moment.

I think we're going to have a pretty darn good Hoosier fan showing...

I purchased tickets from Illinois, and I think it’s safe to say that contingent is made up primarily of IU alumni in the Chicago area.

I hope that Paul BaldTrollDumb@$$ gives Alabama a pep talk. If so, they'll probably go into the game overly confident and thinking IU isn't very good.

lol at his last name getting changed.

I'm really hoping the weather models start trending nicer, because as of now it is looking WET in Pasadena on Thursday.

Would give us the advantage with our running game. Rain away!!!! (-;

It should, although Bama does have a nice run defense too purely looking at the stats. Unsure what run heavy teams they have faced, but they only give up 120 yards a game and rank in the Top 40 judging by ESPN.

Alabama has a top 15 pass defense. Their running game defense is 44th nationally. A howling wind and bad weather would be excellent, especially with our run after the catch WRs

That and Bama's rushing offense is pretty non-existent. IU is 11th in YPG vs 115th for Bama and 5.9 per carry for IU vs 3.4 per carry for Bama.

With the Big Red Warmup being in the golf course, anyone have any insight on if there is a contingency plan on location considering all the rain they’ve had out there, and potential rain on Wed/Thursday? I’m guessing an event of that size won’t have many, if any, backup plan options.
