He was photographed at the Peach Bowl with his phone in his hand and the FanDuel app was one of the icons on his phone screen.

1. FanDuel is a betting app, but is also a broadcast network app.

2. FanDuel does not accept bets on college sports.

3. College athletes are allowed to bet on certain sports; not pro football but multiple others.

4. Even if he bet on the NFL, this would likely be an extremely de minimus thing. He might miss the Indiana State game or something like that.

In summary? Count me as 100% unbothered.

fyi, knowing a little about Georgia, they're one of the few states that still hasn't legalized sportbooks.
Now if he bet(s) in other states is another thing.

A guy doesn’t have FanDuel on his phone if he isn’t betting. Realistically, there’s almost certainly nothing he’s betting on that would be considered within NCAA rules. Do I care? No.

Ok, we all know @Stuhoo is always going to give the pumpingest of the pumper responses.  You're more fair imo.  What do you think is going to happen here?  I've avoided all X conversations on this and I don't follow gambling rules at all.

I think from a “legal”/NCAA rules standpoint Stu is being fair. Having the app on your phone doesn’t prove anything. Problem is that stuff is pretty easy to track, so if he is betting and someone decides to look into it then it’ll be easy to prove. 

If he’s betting NFL or NBA, like Stu said it’ll be largely a nothing burger. If he’s betting on CFB he’s pretty f****d, and should be. My “Do I care? No” line is assuming he’s not betting CFB to be clear lol.

I have it or draft kings in my phone.  Don’t bet. Never opened it. Its there because my phone is linked with the kids.  I get all his apps downloaded.   :)
