I think there will be a competition and Alberto would most likely stick around if he loses, since he'd have 2 years of eligibility still remaining. I just think the history with Cig runs too deep for him to portal out unless he doesn't start the year after next either. Which I doubt. JMO

Reporter asked him today if he sees staying at Indiana in his future and he said yes. Fwiw

Yet I saw highlights in which he flat-out outran defensive backs once he got to the second level.

That was my thought/hope. I guess time will tell.

Don’t know if IU gets in here but with Cig’s obsession with productivity, Jesus,  it doesn’t get much more productive than that.
