They're at it again this morning, one forming consensus being that it's "morally wrong" for Cig to tell players they have a deadline to commit since we're mid Peach Bowl prep. Some poster trying to calm the masses: "Reminder: ND has yet to lose out on a single portal visitor that has made it to campus." (Desperate to claim undefeated at something, I guess?) Then coping by saying they really only need to add DTs and a kicker in the portal whereas IU needs a whole new team (lol). Inject this bit straight to my veins: "I still don’t get why we didn’t host visitors this weekend either but Indiana is also the exception, not the rule of the weekend amongst CFP contenders. Lot of the big schools did basically nothing so far. I don’t have the answer as to why ND and others chose that but we are mainly looking out the window SpongeBob style at IU, not the whole country rn. Land a DT by Tuesday and some will be forgiven." Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 5 Posted January 5 This was a fantastic weekend for our staff but we do have kind of an important game to prepare for so would expect it to be pretty quiet from the recruiting standpoint this week. Heard on a podcast that Oregons assistants have had to be jet setting across the country dealing with portal issues for there new teams.
