Not Pearl, Drew. Not Few, Wright. Not Stevens, Donovan.

… and yet things look shockingly (tic) good! Almost like Dolson knows what he’s doing and hired someone that knows what he’s doing.

He knew what or who he was looking for, and he found him.  Dolson has been around the program for almost 40 years, I think he has thoughts.

my take aways from this, Goodman is a goober (always has been). Lamar is advertised. Kid just seems to be so relaxed, but determined to have a great season. Great kid to rep IU!

If he shows up every week, you know he will be fun on there.  I want to see him interview Goodman and "get you in trouble like you do me". LOL  He seems like a great kid.

Couple of comments from tonight's radio show.  Status of injured players was not discussed.

Darian DeVries, today at his radio show, on Conor Enright: “He’s so fun to coach, and he just does not care. He just competes at a high, high level all the time. There’s no shutoff button with him.”

Darian DeVries on Trent Sisley's play so far: "Trent's done a really good job....he does a really good job of coming in and playing hard and doing his role." Said the coaching staff is "really excited" for Sisley's growth over the next few seasons.

Darian DeVries said that Tucker DeVries won the MVP of the Goth Invitational in the win vs Marquette however, the real trophy was stolen at a concert the night before so the people that sponsored the game found a random object for Tucker DeVries to hold.

I was finally able to watch the game today. I was busy yesterday and recorded it on DISH. I was able to scroll through this thread and I agree with the sentiment that there were some phantom fouls called on IU, but they battled throught it.
I am so impressed with the shooting. I haven't looked at last years 3pt fg made, but we are going to blow that out of the water. I think we our ceiling is high, but that doesn't mean we might not lose to a team or two we should beat. After wat hing Purdue twice, I just don't get their lofty ranking.

If it wasn't Stevens then I'd rather Dolson go with someone with Potential. After talking to DD a couple months ago, I was sold he was the right guy for the job. He gets Indiana Basketball and it's been less than a year.

Including the exhibition, we’ve now played two teams that historically have long athletic squads and acquitted ourselves well in both.

Wilkerson, Alexis and Tucker are obvious B1G level players. Enright was always going to get by on toughness and grit. Conerway and Bailey have struggled a little in each game, but I’ve seen enough to feel comfortable that they should be able to compete even if they get picked on defensively at times. Sisley probably falls in the latter category too even though he played well today.

We play in a league where guys like Martenelli and Loyer are major pieces. Anthony Leal was one of the best defenders last year. There’s just not that many squads full of NBA plus-level athletes that could potentially overwhelm us.

I worry about depth a little. Thought it might hurt us yesterday with the foul trouble. Rebounding will probably be a struggle. Not bad yesterday but they definitely got some easy putbacks.

Speaking of Anthony Leal, he was sitting directly behind me at the game.

And he seems like a guy not trying to jump to NBA or another high major lateral move. I think he could be here a very long time
