Popular Post PartyintheVillas Posted March 20 Popular Post Posted March 20 Jerome Hunter hit 3 big 3’s tonight for Xavier. He was a freshman with Romeo. He’s still playing in the tournament, Archie and Woody aren’t. He outlasted 2 coaches and an nba career! Alford Bailey, HoosierHoopster, HoosierFan1994 and 7 others 10 Quote

He played for a French club BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque in 2024. Not sure where he is now. His career would've been whole lot different if he could shoot 3s. Quote

The brief moments he had some consistency, he's was a pretty good all-around player. I'm worried JHS suffers the same fate. I know folks like to pick on Clif Marshall for injuries but even in the NBA Hoosiers can't stay healthy. Eric Gordon, Victor Oladipo, OG Anunoby both have had time where they were all-stars and looking like more only to be derailed by injuries, too. Thomas Bryant was having his best season and looking like a regular starter... boom ACL tear. We are cursed. Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Happy for Hunter, always liked him and never like to see injury take down players and their dreams. He's a good "kid" - now man, good for him. hoosierfan6157, MemphisHoosier, ebridges24 and 1 other 4 Quote

I’m a firm believer that when a player turns 25 their eligibility should immediately terminate….except for Jerome. That guy hasn’t caught a break. Good for him having a night. go iu bb Posted March 20 Posted March 20 He won the offseason one year at IU. He was the sniper who couldn't miss in workouts. Never really translated to the real games as has been typical of IU for the last decade or so. I remember @HoosierHoopster always being big on him. Glad he's playing well. I hope he has multiple degrees for when his playing days are done. AkronHoosier 1 Quote

He was challenging Romeo in practice. The Romeo that averaged 17ppg that season. Health issues and major injuries reduced what he could have been as a player unfortunately.
