DeVries is really, really good.  MVC player of the year as both a sophomore and junior.

What is exciting about him is his 3 point % went up big time at West Virginia. Small sample size but still. I'm guessing he is a 3/4?

Would be pretty surprised for him not to be an All-League guy next year. Pretty big pick up lol

ok guys...... He's winning the press conference......  That man is motivated to win.  I'm quickly warming up.  Getting pumped up to see what his recruiting chops will look like.

Well that didn't take long...yesterday I thought you might needed a wellness check. LOL

Hopefully not our best player. When all the dust settles.

On a tangent wasn’t their a Hey Arnold episode where the coaches kid was named Tucker.

Lol, a rec league basketball team where Coach Wittenberg benches Arnold for making a shot instead of passing the ball to his son. Good stuff.

Well, their starting big man avged 2.2 Orebs a game.

I'll concede that point; the 5 is around the basket, and is the lone opportunity at second chance points. The other guys vacate immediately, but you're right.

It sounds like it's likely he gets the waiver and is back next year. Might be a fight.

Goode back? I haven't found a single person who thought he would win his appeal. I hope your right but since he finished the season that year they usually don't approve those

he was trying to read without looking like he was reading.  He really needed Biden's teleprompter.  Cuban should have hooked him up in the back of the media room.  lol

He's likely had very little sleep if any and is operating on pure adrenaline and multiple Bang Energy drinks.  I also think he's a bit uncomfortable talking about himself and discussing fluff with the media.  He was in his element talking ball.

WVU, for not sending anyone to the offensive glass, only avged 1.9 ORs less than us a game.

This is also true, which is awful for a team so attracted to 2-big lineups, and which had Oumar Ballo...

I think the more we see devries the happier we are going to be with how he shapes the team, and i dont think we will ever have to worry about seeing a team not playing hard enough. If the coach is relentless, then the team will probably be relentless. If the players dont buy in, they wont be there. I definitely like what I heard.

With that said, even if it was low percentage, a person that wants to coach again will take a call to maybe coach the team he rooted for when he was a kid. Throughout I really had doubts because being a president of one the best nba teams would be a tough job to leave, no matter where he would be going to. But that doesn't mean he didn't have interest.

Dolson had to try. And I'm betting he kept trying even after hearing things he may not have wanted to hear. Anyways, I'm always appreciative of posters who share what they hear, whether it ends up being right or wrong, because they really dont have to share anything if they dont want to.

Also, it made the search thread so much fun this go around, hell I miss it already.

I'm excited about this hire, and I havent been since crean. Let's go
