Not to brag or anything...

But Anthony Leal is indeed a B1G caliber player, as I said many years ago.

I will brag for us.  He should have been starting for us the last couple of seasons and should have always been playing.

I thought it was a pretty exciting game to go to.  Haven’t been to many since graduating.  The crowd wanted to get into it, but it took awhile.  Everyone in my section was standing the last 8 or 9 minutes.

Until we made our second half run the most entertaining part was the baby race at halftime.  Soooo cute :)  It almost makes me want one.  Almost.

Really happy for the seniors.  I heard CMW said that maybe he is leaving too early.  He really has no idea.

So many senior managers. Couple senior players I had never heard of.

Minutes per game for the year (in games that players played in):

  • Ballo 29.2 (30 games)
  • Rice 27.5 (31 games)
  • Galloway 27.4 (31 games)
  • Goode 26.5 (31 games)
  • Mgbako 25.3 (31 games)
  • Reneau 23.2 (25 games)
  • Leal 21.3 (24 games)
  • Carlyle 16.6 (24 games)
  • Tucker 16.6 (23 games)
  • Hatton 6.5 (18 games)

By the end of the year it was an eight man rotation with Carlyle getting mostly spot minutes.  I would expect that's the rotation you'll see in the BTT and in the NCAA (assuming).

I woulda put money on Ballo NOT leading the team in mins. Shocking.

That's been known for some time but it will be pretty remarkable if it's granted but nothing ventured nothing gained.

I agree.

One of the criteria is a season ending injury but the 10 games he played were the last 10 games of the season. That really hurts his case.

Doubt he will win but if he threatens to sue the NCAA they might buckle. who knows?

I think there’s been discussions of the NCAA redoing how they do eligibility altogether. Maybe even adding a 5th year.

I wouldn’t fully rule his return out.
