IUBB @ Purdue - Friday, 01.31.25 @ 8:00 on Fox TV

Recommended Posts

I know we're gonna get creamed, so I'm not necessarily thinking (or hoping) we'll get a win.

But ONE thing I would like to see ...

Last year after they pounded us in Laf-a-lot, their li'l Amish point guard snarkily commented how he was surprised it was so easy for him to get to the basket against us -- that essentially, we offered no resistance.

At some point Friday night, I want to see him get put on his a$s.

Not a dirty foul. Just a hard foul. A little message if you will ...

(Difficult to discern who has a more punchable face -- him or his backcourt mate, Hermey the elf)

Braden Smith lights up Mackey Arena scoreboard, Purdue basketball snaps out of funk

I hear what you're saying... but it's on Woodson and company for allowing him to score so easily... Woodson's job is to get his team ready to prevent that. He's not done that very well, and, well, you get what you get.

Never said it wasn't on Woodson and company ... They allowed it to happen -- and BS was only too happy to spout off about it. ... That's why this time around, you correct it.

Oh, this will be good with Hummel in the house.  dws

Jason Benetti and Robbie Hummel will call #iubb at Purdue, Friday at 8 p.m. ET for FOX.

Hummel with the call for a game at Purdue? I wasn't going to watch before I found this out but now...I'm definitely not going to watch. I know the team is garbage without having to hear him say basically that every other play.

We lose these next two,  I don't see how the administration or the group around Woody would have him coaching when Dusty May comes into Assembly Hall.

Every time I find myself saying "there's no way the administration could let (fill in the blank) happen," they almost always let it happen.

I've said this for years. The BOT operates on a completely different wavelength than the fans.

I find it funny that we get called little brother by those stinky northerners, yet somehow my X feed is full of PUrdouche highlights against us for IU hate week, yet not one from us so far. I could be wrong but is that not the definition of little brother?

If you go through position by position, we match up well with Purdue. We definitely have a more talented roster.  We hang around and have a chance in the end.
