Hovadipo Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Was just coming to post about Tuggle. I’m curious if the staff will shoot for a couple of talented young guys that haven’t produced quite yet. lillurk 1 Quote

To get reps on a team that deep as a true freshman speaks to a players ability. I know Cignetti has preference of production over potential but I don't think the staff is going to ignore every kid with a talent ceiling as high as Tuggles's just because he didn't put up all-conference numbers as an 18 year old. lillurk and JerryYeagley23 2 Quote

Thanks, I had no clue how talented UGA was. How do you know how high his talent ceiling is? Quote

Because you don't make the 2 deep at a school like Georgia as true freshman unless you're immensely talented.... Hurryin' Hoosiers 1 Quote

I saw 750 yards as his last season and thought it was his SR year. And Sarratt isn't a burner either... I'm sure we can get the most out of him. We definitely have reps available and I do think Omar could play some slot. Quote

Got it Yeah the kid sucked so bad that he cracked the rotation for the #2 team in the country as an 18 year old, the same program that has had 33 players drafted over the course of the last 3 seasons. JSHoosier Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 https://247sports.com/player/nitro-tuggle-46134252/ Tuggle scouting report on 247 Tall, long, but lean frame. Has fluidity and natural coordination in his movements. That shows up as he runs routes as he can smoothly change directions, but he is still working on his overall route running technique. Has good ball skills and a wide catch radius thanks to length, athleticism and hand-eye coordination. Slippery after the catch and elusive especially for his height. Must fill in and get stronger while refining his game but has a high ceiling. Clear Power Five prospect who still has a lot of runway to play his best football in college. Recent quote from Daylen Everette, Georgia's top corner and SEC game MVP "Yeah, Nitro, he's a real good player," Everette said. "He really is a fun player to compete against. He probably has one of the best releases. So that also helps me because I know what to look for and try to stay patient. Iron sharpening iron, he's getting better, I'm getting better. It's just fun to go against him." https://247sports.com/college/georgia/article/transfer-portal-nitro-tuggle-georgia-football-241702361/ lillurk and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote

rcbowla Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Look....I don't know much about Nitro the "real" person. However, in my NCAA 25 career I did get Nitro out of the transfer portal as a SO and the kid went on to set school records for yards and TD's. Clearly this means he's coming here and will be one of the greatest IU players of all time. 8bucks, thebigweave, Hurryin' Hoosiers and 2 others 5 Quote
