In January or February, during a post game conference Hurley was asked about Reibe and he said something to the effect of he needs to worry more about his development and less about his playing time. He was behind Tarris Reed, one of the most dominant bigs in the country. He did a good job early in the year when Reed was injured, but when his minutes went down he became pretty disengaged on the bench. And he was getting lost on defense to the point it was tough to play him. According to UConn fans their staff wanted him back but told him they would bring in another 5 to compete. True, but generally speaking, we all know starters usually get most PT outside of foul trouble or injury. He probably wants some sort of vision /guarantee of a larger role.
