2) Wilkerson and IU are relatively mediocre at mid-season = what was DD thinking, that’s what we get for paying a mercenary only after the bag, need guys that want to be at IU, etc etc.

I don't think the 4 other players people named would tear up a JUCO game. I couldn't understand why they were the examples to begin with. 

Hanner, maybe, if he had the correct guards, could have torn up a JUCO game as a FR.

Jobe averaged 4 points 4 boards and 1 block the year before he got to IU. He wasn't anything special before Crean came calling.

I was hoping we could get 1 of the 2 so if we land both that would be fantastic.  They absolutely would pair well together.  It would be such a change to have a strong backcourt...what we have been missing for years.

No they haven’t, and it’s painfully obvious it is going to be a steep learning curve for many of the concepts surrounding salary allocation and acquiring players every year. It’s probably where some of the angst comes from. 
 

Not that I particularly blame IU, or college, fans in general, because many people liked college sports particularly because it was distinct from the pros in its absence of such dynamics. But it is a brand new world and college fans that follow the offseason will eventually come to grips with it.
