So basically he played significant minutes against mostly bad teams where IU happen to win.  Listen, I like Leal (less now admittedly after his senior day speech), he has good fundamentals and a high IQ, but the truth is he lacks the speed and athleticism to play significant minutes on a top 25 team.

Didn't play against UConn... Got destroyed

Didn't play against Purdue... Got destroyed

Played 18 at Purdue... Got destroyed

Played 8, 12 and 12 against Nebraska... Got whooped in every game

14 at home against PSU, got whooped

Played 9 against Auburn... Got whooped

Played 3 against Rutgers... Got whooped

Seemed like there was something to him being on the court.. almost as if there was a dude on the court that was a leader and knew what he was doing. Wild right? Even if we beat bad teams, he was a massive reason we won multiple of those 5.

Tomorrow and Wednesday should see a jump in portal announcements in general and likely more names being referenced as "contacted by IU".

Tournament lost 32 teams in the last 4 days.  An athlete who wants to enter the portal asks a university compliance administrator to submit their name. Once the request is made, the school has two business days to submit the information to the NCAA.

Did the post player from Charlotte that IU contacted already commit? Dishon Jackson iirc—think I saw somewhere that Iowa State may have snagged him.

Maybe they can at least get a visit out of Amari Williams (unless he’s been scooped up too)

He's still available.  Quick reference point is the very first post in this thread.  Trying to keep it updated as new names come up and other names drop off.

If they’re truly recruiting Carlyle, maybe they should re-recruit Stojakovic and even consider Raynaud

Ware is the reason we won those games. And MM getting hot. Look, Leal is a nice player, but he wouldn’t sniff the floor for Illinois, Purdue, Michigan State, Northwestern, Nebraska, or even Wisconsin.
Leal doing what he does and being one of the best players for IU is more of a inditement on Woodson not developing others players than it is Leal being some secret weapon.

Ethan Morton plays for Purdue. Leal would without a doubt play for Purdue. And the fanbase would be sayong, "should have had that Mr. Basketball. What a terrible job recruiting."

Seriously don't think Stojakovic goes east of the Rockies.

Yeah everything I’ve seen suggests he’ll stay on the Coast or maybe go to Gonzaga

Anything's possible but could also be Anthony Walker's roster spot.

Tyson is listed as a guard on Belmont’s roster.  He’s a wing.  And he can play alongside MM is Mgbako is the 4.

His brother played for Clemson a few years back.    No knowledge but my guess he is ACC bound
