You don't know what you're talking about. Below are the heights/weights of the starting PG's remaining in the S16 (taken straight from each school's website)

Auburn---Tahaad Pettiford 6'1 175

Michigan---Tre Donaldson 6'3 195

Ole Miss---Sean Pedulla 6'1 195

Michigan State--Tre Holloman 6'2 185

Florida---Walter Clayton Jr 6'3 195

Maryland--Ja'Kobi Gillespie 6'1 186

Texas Tech---Elijah Hawkins 5'11 160

Arkansas---Boogie Fland 6'2 175

Duke--Tyrese Proctor 6'6 183

Arizona--Caleb Love 6'4 205

BYU---Egor Demin 6'9 215

Alabama--Mark Sears 6'1 190

Houston---LJ Cryer 6'1 200

Purdue---Braden Smith 6'0 170

Kentucky--Lamont Butler 6'1 208

Tennessee---Zakai Zeigler 5'9 172

At 6'2 185, Enright is as tall or taller than 11/16 starting PG's left in the tournament. His size is not an issue, clearly.

I do. Remember you told us Stirtz is q 6th man.  Lol

He's 6ft tall btw. His lack of size shows up on film, you should watch some, of course I'm not convinced you'd know what you were looking at, but hey... give it a shot.

It's hard to take serious you comparing Enright to LJ, Smith, and ZZ lolol

Donaldson may be one of the better guards in the country.

I can’t sign off on that statement. He’s solid. But he’s not even the best player on his own team.

I’m not trying to disparage the guy, but if someone like him is our best guard on the team I think we don’t meet expectations for next year.  Which was the gist of my post.

Wasn't my claim, it was @IUGRAD06claim

My post completely debunks @Certified Sunshine Pumperclaim from yesterday that he's too small to start in the B10. Clearly he's not

Yes, he's clearly too small to start in the B10. Good grief

Little guy.

Offers tremendous fit off the bench.

Right. But we're giving him credit for these great assist numbers without knocking him for his turnover issues. His best role, then, is much more limited in terms of the amount of offense running through him... which means he won't be creating as many assists.

Yes, he's a bench guy with experience. And that's fine.

Yeah for sure. With his lack of size he isn't a starter, but maybe gets us 8-10 mins in B1G games. Solid depth

Did not compare their skillsets, only their size which according to you is a detriment since Enright is bigger than all of them lol.

He isn't lol..  ok, bigger than ZZ.... and they're worlds different.

LJ Cryer is quite a bit bigger and plays bigger, of course ones a P5 starter and one isn't.

Conor Enright is 6'2 180 lbs and started at a P5 school this last season. Will play heavy rotation minutes for DeVries if not outright starts, although finishing the game is what matters.

The amount of arguing over a guy who hasn't yet signed at IU and whose role is being argued about on a roster that hasn't even been made yet is ridiculous.  I'm out.

This is what makes a message board interesting. They're providing back up too. If we all agreed...it would be boring.

But isn't that what transfer portal discussions are all about? When no movement is occurring with regard to players committing to the program, all that can be done is to speculate. Plus, you're never going to get full consensus on a player that will come off the bench.

He grew 2in in a year? Lol I'd doubt it.

At Depaul who went 13-19? Kinda reinforces my point.

He's not going to start, he's not big enough, or good enough.

Boy, maybe I’m missing something but every time I’ve watched him this year he just kills it and especially at the end of the game. He’s a guard that I want the ball in his hands at the end of the game. He just has that killer instinct imo..

I'm going off DePaul's website just like I did for every other player I listed.

Every one is entitled to their own opinion.

I'll be happy if we start putting more emphasis on the size of the fight in the dog. On intangibles, as well as tangibles. On a team full of guys who won't get outhustled and will never show up with a half-hearted effort that leads to getting blown out in Assembly Hall - or in barely beating overmatched opponents and thinking they played a good game.

I don't know how you look at the list of names, heights, and stats of players in the transfer portal and figure out which players are the right fit unless you've seen them play a lot and know about them as a person. IU obviously needs players who can score and defend, but it also needs competitors who can excel in ways that aren't easy to judge unless you really know the player.

Enright's familiarity with DeVries system, his leadership, competitiveness, and hustle is why he'll play heavy minutes for IU next year. May not "start" games but will be a key piece to the rotation throughout.

For the record, I don't really care about his size rather showing his measurables are adequate for this level of play despite one poster being adamant that he's undersized.

He for sure fits. Obvious reasons DDv wants him. Very excited

Undersized to start, yes. 6' 180 isn't cutting it often in P5.  Facts

That’s the point.  You can complain about things about him but size isn’t one of them.  Hustle and fight isn’t one of them.  He is an average sized PG. more or less in the middle to higher range.  Looking at the 2025 class.  Most of those kids are 6’ but range from 5’9” to 6’4”.  Argue about things that matter instead of an inch or two here on preference.

It's nothing to do with preference. He isn't big enough or skilled enough to compensate that for long periods of time.

My preference is to be ultra skilled, which includes Enright in a 7th-9th role.

I´m kinda glad it´s fairly quiet right now. Seems like every player that went to portal yesterday was a 10-14 ppg, 2-4 reb, 2-4 assist guy at a small school.  The one from Wright State intrigues me today....19 ppg big guy
