Transfer Portal w IU Interest

I wouldn't consider 60 minutes of a season to be noteworthy. Walker playing quite a few minutes in some games, but he was brought in for that role. Hatton isn't being brought in to play those kinds of minutes, unless there is an injury or foul trouble.

He played more than 60 minutes as a 5. — that was just a very obvious time when he was playing the 5.  Point is that Sparks could only play the 5, Walker was able to play both.  He was mainly a 4 but saw minutes at the 5.  Hatton is mainly a 5 who can play the 4;  that alone gives him the ability to play more minutes than sparks

If I were a betting man, he's either going to Vandy or IU.  I could be wrong but I'm still willing to bet it.

Vandy.  Close to home and for his family to make the drives down to Nashville for home games.

Makes sense. No idea what he's studying but there are worse degrees to have then that one.

Sure, can't fault him. Sure wish he would have looked at IU prior to last season however. He coulda gotten plenty of PT, $$ closer to home, all that.

If he was looking at Vandy, IU, and 2 other big ten schools, he at least made the second best decision.

OK, with Alex Hemenway off the board do we make a play for Jonathan Powell? High school kid who recently de-committed from Xavier.

Was a former offeree and former teammate of Gabe Cupps.

I suspect that since we have a ton of guards destined to return after the coming year and Mullins is our priority recruit, the only way we'd fill that 13th spot with a guard would be if it was a one year rental. A developmental or foreign big would be a much better use of that 13th spot.

Oh I agree. Not turning Powell away though. I mean, just depth wise.. we need 5+4/5 more than 1-3.
