I don’t see conerway and enright both starting, just my opinion though

Right, but between those three the 80 guard minutes would be largely divided up. Wilkerson might get some time at the 3 too, they’d all play 25+ minutes…maybe Enright around 20 instead.

Gotta get em signed first though!

speaking of **** changing…. Hope this doesn’t help UK for Wilkerson

Freshman are wise to pay attention. Many of the good ones are getting recruited over like crazy right now.

Brzovic,  Bailey,  DeVries, Wilkerson and Conerway is interesting. TC can't shoot but might be the best defender at his position in the portal. He's disruptive.

Moore, Enright, Goode and Sisley as a start to the bench is respectable.

A lot of industry people believe it's a soft pivot out of the extra covid year. The juco eligibility change has had alot to do with the reasoning.

I’ve complained plenty about scouting stat lines, but Conerway’s is pretty interesting. 1) The combination of the good 2pt shooting % and averaging 5 assists/gm while playing for a team that was 250th in shooting % means he’s getting penetration, distorting defenses and creating easy looks for himself and others. Surround him with shooters and that’s a nice trait. 2) A defensive disrupter, and 3 steals a game is certainly that, would be incredibly valuable if this team ends up with rim protection issues. Hopefully those steals are a result of being able to guard rather than undisciplined freelancing. 3) Love the rebounding number because the way this roster is sort of going there doesn’t appear to be a Ballo/Ware handling your defensive glass in the offing. Wilkerson was also a 4 rebound guy. You get good rebounding from 5 guys you can live without having great rebounding from 1 or 2.

This kid is exactly what Devries described as wanting in a guard.

Willing to give up perimeter shooting for a hard-nosed defender that can get to the rim.

These are the moments being fully staffed would help. These kids are going to feel portaled over qnd start dropping commitments.

We are trying to get Nyk Lewis interested. We were anyway.
