Didn't know much about Louisville before moving there but i was impressed with their food/bar options For sure. I don't really think it's that great of a college town, solid places to drink and eat, though. Quote

There is no time for no dang rebuild. The administration has imo made this worse by waiting a year to long. Other schools have had success year one with a new coach and team. I don't care if he gets a group of 5 stars or had to get walkons to step in. We better be winning right now! Does it mean competing for a National Championship next year? S16? Comfortably in the tournament? Better than .500 in conference? I think most expect IU to better than recent years next year. Upper half of the B1G and comfortably in the tournament in year 1. Hutch89, HoosierFan1994, BGleas and 1 other 4 Quote

People in this fanbase don’t like baby steps. Let’s first make the tourney and consider that a success. I truly believe building a 100% from the portal or getting recruits last minute is a success every year. You have to have an infrastructure. Quote

coonhounds Posted April 1, 2025 Posted April 1, 2025 Would you consider the year that L'ville or Kentucky had a "successful" year?Yes that is closer to my expectations. Infact we play kentucky next year I believe. We better be getting players and building a team ready to be competitive with them. If we are losing games like that by 20 plus I will not be a happy camper. And I believe the majority won't be either. We pay players now this isn't the same atmosphere any coach has ever walked into our job in. Sent from my SM-S926U using Tapatalk Quote

EasyEJay Posted April 1, 2025 Posted April 1, 2025 Not surprised but Xavier Booker in the portal . Hasn’t developed during his time in East Lansing . Gotta think the Drew Adams and Indiana Elite connections make him a possibility for IU if they don’t get Flory . If the staff think thier is untapped talent and potential there . Idk personally I’ll leave that to the experts . Ant Wright in X always seemed to think he wasnt getting a fair shake and should have played more in his time at MSU , Quote

Bookers problem is he doesn’t play hard all the time and doesn’t put in the work. People who have coached him or coaches don’t think he loves basketball enough.
