Right now he is a pick and roll big for lobs and dump offs and a shot blocker.  Works well with a bunch of shooters on O and lets the 1-4 take more risk on D.

There is a connection between a portal recruit's family member and a burner. Thus the info.

Hello again, friends. I’m going to play catch up here instead of reading through 356 pages of god only knows what.

Sounds like the 3 big targets right now are McKneely, Dix, and Conwell, along with maybe Flory.

Theres also the Enright kid from DePaul as some bench depth. 

Add in Tucker, Sisley, and (not likely, BUT) maybe Goode, and you’re suddenly at 8 players. What about Zrno? Did that dude fall off the face of the planet? Haven’t heard a peep since he decommited.

If, by some miracle, DRock can land all those guys, that’s 9 roster spots filled, and suddenly you’re only looking for a PG and some bench guys. That’s a good spot to be in!

Now I’m not sold on Flory. I don’t think he comes here, and I don’t think he’s that good. But not a bad place to start for a first year HC. I’ll be here trusting the process regardless. Go Hoosiers!

I think we are out of the McNeely recruitment

Probably goes without saying, but Conwell, Dix, and Bidunga would be an A+ start to next season's roster. It seems like we have a real shot with all three.

Once we fill out the rotation, would love to see us take a couple of developmental guys like Briscoe from Crispus Attucks to round out the roster.

Very good shot blocker.  Don't know about pick and roll.  The biggest problem at Kansas was getting him and Dickinson on the court together because both are fives defensively.

That's good to hear, I know that UT insider was pretty much calling it a done deal for UT. 

Such an unusual visit here with no teammates, no one to show him around other than the coaches, who themselves are still learning about Bloomington and IU. Hope tot see DeVries knock it out of the park

These visits are more focused on fit/role and money, not super concerned about the other Items for portal recruitments

Oh I know that, my point is more about the player being recruited. Our concerns are really secondary. The players being recruited know we're in a complete team rebuild with a new coach, but it's still really unusual and will be an entirely different feel for the prospect to be recruited with no existing players.
