He might be. Retirement effective at the end of the season would mean he would still be coaching

He was a stud last year as well.  Glad he stayed with New Mexico he had a chance to go anywhere.   You could tell he was going to be special even when they had Mashburn Jr, and House.  One of favorite guards to watch nationally

Normally I’d think they’d bury the news and put a bulletin out at like 4:50pm Friday. But if it’s true that Woody threw a tantrum this morning, after previously agreeing to a “forced” retirement after the season, and said he quits today, scrambling them to change plans and delay an announcement, then I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Osterman or someone breaks the story after the women’s game / early tomorrow morning. If he’s already messed up plans once, the urgency to make the news official so he doesn’t do it again is probably a factor. Wonder what games are being played with him and Quinn that we will likely never know about…

Not really sure I see the issue.  How many practices did they have before the Minnesota game when Ya coached?  Ya and Hunter are the ones who do the scouting reports anyway.
