Other than rant and rave, what could a pissed off Mike Woodson really do though? It's not as though he's RMK and can convince top recruits to look elsewhere. He can't scare off potential coaches or staff. His buddy Buckner won't be office for much longer after the season ends.

Well, I agree he can do limited damage, but it could be very embarrassing and hostile, I don't think anybody wants to see that. I think most of us just want a new coach, we don't want to see an ugly scene between Woody, the fans and players!

Why risk it, just let him go after Purdue beats us by 30......

BS lol

Either the dude stalked a chick on campus or didn't.

As long as he didn't make phone calls he shouldn't have....what does it really matter?

No they did not. Golden's attorney stated that UF will not be pursuing employment contract violations. UF has not made a statement that I'm aware of.

Whether he stalked (multiple) women as alleged is something that, absent a civil suit by the women, we likely will never know.

Cmonn lol

"The University of Florida has closed its investigation into Gators men's basketball coach Todd Golden after finding "no evidence" that he violated Title IX, the school said Monday. "

But some on here know more?

Oh I agree, I just didn't understand why some were acting like they knew the details.

Very few things in this world are explicitly black and white… especially not something like this…

I find that to be complete BS truthfully. Either he stalked her or didn't stalk her.

Not as big of a deal as you think especially with how this season has gone. Coaches are competitors too and most want to move up to their own jobs. Things get heated in the moment. As a former coach I don’t want yes men as assistants. I want guys to be honest and give me their opinions on what they would do, see, decide, so on and so fourth. It’s my job as the head coach to then decide what I believe to be best overall. And either live with the outcome. That’s what the head coach gets paid for. Assistants should know it doesn’t always go there way and as a head coach I know sometimes I should have followed their advice and be able to recognize and learn from that. So if I’m Woody after the game it’s a simple conversation. “Hey ya I think I messed up. I made a bad decision and you were right we should have fouled and I should have taken your advice. My bad man. Keep throwing me good ideas.” And the whole thing is squashed because your assistant fell valued and heard.

Valid points... but there's absolutely no way those words EVER come out of Woodson's mouth.

He doesn't need anyone's opinion... that's why he's the Wizard of Broad Ripple.

That’s fine. I find your thought process on this to be complete BS truthfully too. We can agree to disagree :)

"The University of Florida takes these matters seriously and works deliberately to ensure that due process is upheld for everyone," university spokesperson Steve Orlando said in a statement. "After a thorough investigation that included dozens of interviews over the past months, the University of Florida has found no evidence that Todd Golden violated IX. The Title IX office has closed its investigation."

Editor's Picks

A spokesperson for the University Athletic Association, which oversees Florida athletics, also confirmed to ESPN the review had been completed.

"We take these matters seriously and understand the need for the process to be conducted with strict confidentiality and discretion," the UAA said in a statement. "Throughout this process, Coach Golden has demonstrated tremendous focus and professionalism, and we commend him for that. As the Gators move forward, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting a championship experience with integrity."

Sorry for going by what is told. I'm sure you know more details about the situation though :)

The Title IX complaint included allegations that Golden sent photos and videos of his genitalia, made unwanted sexual advances on Instagram and requested sexual favors. The school has declined requests to release records of the complaint.

still waiting on the grey area in this one..... those would be called receipts :)

True - now see the info that UF cleared him too, citing "no evidence.". Nothing to see here unless there are future developments.

The fact that we have to wait til Purdue and Wisconsin is ridiculous in its own

We have to see if our rival beats the brakes off of us, and we have to see if he can get the first IU win in the Kohl Center this century (?) before making a final decision?
