cleeter Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 This guy has ruined the program. I'd like to thank the Ferguson family, Steve and his whole family because he's been a major mentor in my life; the Cook family He is probably writing the Bosnian a million dollar check today. Could very well give a kid a “bonus” to announce and he can back out later. DChoosier and cleeter 2

With that said, I don’t root against IU because I’m a believer in the zen master and the law of unintended consequences. Also, an administration that needs booed into action isn’t one that will be good at hirer a new coach anyways. Basically it is as irrational as it is rational to root against IU, so I just watch with increased apathy. Home Jersey 1

I can't hate Woodson because I went back and watched his games under RMK. He was a helluva player and it's just absolutely frustrating to see the product we currently have. Literally nothing he learned under RMK translated to his coaching style or ability. I just don't get it.

You can do 10,000 and be better than you were, but being mindful and putting real effort into those reps will set you worlds apart from where you started and it will very clearly show in the finished product. Attention to detail, something Woodson lost in translation playing for RMK! WeeDerkaNaut 1

Clearly :( It goes hand in hand with the prep work too. You pay attention to the finer details in your prep work and you will learn much more and you will become much more efficient at what it is you're striving to accomplish. Its importance cannot be stressed enough.

coonhounds Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 A colleague gave an interesting observation to me earlier today…the past two games Mike has worn a tie with the opposing team’s colors. He says Mike knows he’s gone. Take it with a grain of salt, but he ain’t lying about the tie colors. It used to be red and only red until now. My daughter noticed it at iowa. I just don't get it. Honestly he adapted his coaching from the NBA and zero from RMK. Coaching in the NBA is not about developing players or game preparation. players are already talented, it’s about setting the starting lineup, substituting, and calling timeouts when teams go on runs. Basically, there isn’t much coaching in the NBA, at least from what Woodson adapted and learned Ryno6284 and WeeDerkaNaut 1 1

RMK himself practiced what he taught his players on and off the court. He led by example and pushed them to heights of greatness they probably didn't even imagine for themselves. College ball has its own culture and structure and MW just doesn't understand it, or he just doesn't care. Either way it's frustrating and painful.

WeeDerkaNaut Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 Also dear Lord Purdookie is going to absolutely incinerate us... We're behind everyone else watching the game because we paused for dinner but Michigan looks like a bunch of middle schoolers in comparison to PU. PU will do to us what Hulk did to Loki
