Didn't say you didn't read it. Just that you comprehension is woefully lacking. It literally said that his guilt or role in the DV event was unknown, but his actions were physically undeniable.

You seem to think that IU moving on from Woodson was a surprise to everyone else. It wasn't. Schools will make decisions on whether or not to extend their coaches regardless of if the status of the IU job. May signing an extension with the IU job open just showed publicly that he had no interest in the position.

Well I guess the king should not have "retired" given the way it looks he is just cooking beyond belief . With us already  missing on may and most likely stevens he could of let the PROCESS play out and begged like heck for year five. Kathy should have told him to hold off on the "retirement". He ended up being his own worse enenmy not letting the " process" play out.  Instead we will probably hire bronwell and the king will be enraged.

Please ignore anyone who compares Woody to Archie.

That said, in both cases I think rivalry performance is revealing. Archie obviously knew on some intellectual level of the rivalry. His teams never played PU like the game mattered to him or them much, aside from the Haarms tip-in loss, maybe.

Conversley Woody’s record against Purdue shows he gets it — but it’s damning about how he failed to capitalize on his team’s talent in too many other games.

You're conflating to different things.  One is whether an incident happened -- which it clearly did.  With whether he can be proven to have committed a crime.  Regardless of your stance on DV, there were mitigating circumstances which made it difficult to prove criminal activity beyond a reasonable doubt.  Both things can be true and the powers that be can decide it's not a look the university wants at this point.

The great thing is dolson gets to decide not some random guy on btown banners  who is a beard hater . He can complain all he wants its not his decision at all .  The online morality police are not making the hire. He should probably add leary, evans, and hillman to his naughty list because they have all said we should hire beard.  So did Jim Coyle. His naughty list is going to keep growing.

So catching up on everything here sort of ,seems like they won big today and  now I am gonna guess they win out and go to the B10 tournament and on to the other tournament and now is the King still leaving ? I  was secretly hoping that this would all be ending soon but I guess not  ,I have zero attachment to this current team and do wonder what coach will we end up with .

I forgot they even played but guys on twitter are giddy talking about going 10-10 and sneaking into the tourney. Get ready for the king to unretire soon.

I did see on another board someone posted Woody has some health concerns and no matter what would happen he would not be coming back. Now take that with a grain of salt because no clue who the poster was or if there is ANY truth to that rumor.

Yeah, he's scheduled for surgery after the season ends... he's finally getting that hump removed.
