I have to imagine the players had a role in why he is still on the sideline. I imagine if they made it known they wouldn't be happy if woodson was gone then dolson would have to do exactly what they are doing. Regardless this is ugly and woodson should be fired immediately.

You don't let players make that decision.

The wagons were certainly circled... actually it was a pretty pathetic effort, and 100% transparent.

The Raftery Dedes gushing was fake syrupy pathetic. It was like they were reminiscing about a sick Jimmy V.

Almost everything they said was the opposite of the truth.

I actually LOLed when they talked about Woodson drawing up a great OOB play for them after a TO.

Also interesting is that they said MW told them some things they would not repeat. I think he was crying to the announcers about being fired before the game.

He was a legend at a player 45 years ago... but a crappy coach for the past 4 years... what have you done for us lately, Magic Mike, besides crap your pants?

I know.  I think the university crap their pants on this one too.  They handled it with kid gloves but MW spit in their faces.  They should have just ripped the bandaid off, and sh*tcan him 2-3 weeks ago.  Heck, maybe they should have done it after the Bahamas.  The heck with his feelings, he obviously doesn’t care about the university, only himself

No don't let them make the decision. Imagine though if you have a meeting with them and several say if he is forced out were done. Now you have a even bigger mess. I bet if they all said OK good riddance then that would make it easier

Yes it does. Not sure what he thinks he is proving by staying all year. If he thought he was going to go on a I will prove them wrong run today was a must win for him. He is going to get rocked on Tuesday by 25.

He obviously thinks it is successful just barely getting into the tournament and it would keep him employed, lol

Yeah, that was classic passive-aggressive on MW's part...

There'd have been no argument from me...

Are you suggesting that the inmates are actually running the asylum?

I'm also more than a little interested in how much Buckner, Ferguson et al had to pay Rafferty and Spero for that syrupy slobberfest?

They’ve been doing that all year!  That’s why they didn’t want a change, their freedom and carefree attitude could go away.  If they really cared about Woodson as much as they say, maybe they should have played harder every game and practice harder too.  Maybe they would have won a few more games and had a lesser deficit in the ones they lost

That won't even happen. He will be 5-9 after Tuesday and he isn't winning 6 in a row after that

Upside of losing today is it keeps making Woody look terrible.  I’m so sick of him.  The more losses the worse he and his cronies look.
Correct I have no issue with it at this point. Season is over anyway.

Players don't make the decision and they shouldn't be allowed to force your hand, that got us Mike Davis.

Completely true, but it has got to be hard on the players. Perfect world is Woody steps away and the team wins 4 or 5 of the last 7
