I would give him the benefit of the doubt IF he only once made an adjustment or adaptation in the past 3.5 years.  Doing the same thing and entering the gauntlet we are about to enter is the definition of insanity.  The guy is just a mumbling, stumbling, idiot at this point.

Don’t forget delusional, that’s his strong point!

Not unless they proved they were a hell of a coach first.  We don't need guys learning on the job just because they played at IU.

Sounds like our current coaching staff!

It appears we are debating whether fife is a bad guy or not. I thought this was about getting rid of the wizard.

Correct me if wrong but only 1 former player is doing well as a coach I think Memphis  is doing well otherwise don't know any current used to be player coaching well right now.

Do you mean former players coaching at their alma mater? Yeah, there's only a few of those and for the most part it hasn't worked out.

Davis at UNC is another one in addition to those mentioned by others already. He's done much better than Woodson but some think he's on the hot seat while others think it's just warm and he'll for sure get another year. So he hasn't been terrible but he's also not great and likely won't last too much longer at UNC.

If you mean coaches who were former players at any school, then that would be quite a few of the coaches out there.
