Happens everywhere.  They get paid well to deal with the criticism. I’m guessing the good ones don’t real care about it.   Winning cures all.  Underwood had the 2 worst seasons in Illinois history when he first started and those fans wanted blood.  He sucked his pride up and changed how he coaches and adapted to his roster and the next thing you know he started winning and those fans love him

This early in the season? No. I'm not picking anyone. Just having fun game by game in the prediction league. As others have said, people wouldn't be nearly as up-in-arms about his tenure if he would have shown some grace and humility.

And I reiterate that had Penn State shot their average today, I would have guessed correctly on us getting blown out. A part of my decision making on that was we didn't have MR and we haven't been shooting well at all. Remember we had a 5% from three game not that long ago.

Woody was mediocre to okay his first two years -- limped into the tourney and got blown out, then won one tourney game.  Still after two years fan support was strong going into year three.  The fans lost hope when the team imploded and we missed on every HS recruit -- what are fans supposed to do?

Our fans aren't that bad and the bar isn't too high here.

I don’t actively root for the demise of a sitting head coach and actually want the Hoosiers to win.

I’m the furthest thing from a troll. I’m also not miserable either.

So anyway, I have no idea how to even predict the game that MR returns. Do we go back to two bigs and suffer or did Woodson learn from today and rotate Ballo and Reneau from now on? Thoughts?

The starting 5 today needs to be the starters the rest of the year. Reneau, Leal and Tucker only guys who need to come off the bench. 8 man rotation.

Woody says it’s gonna be a while. Yet my source says it’s nothing major. I don’t know how to balance those 2. Seems we might be missing him next week as well.

As far as the 2 big thing, I think it’ll work itself out. I said earlier it’s less about 2 bigs and more about 3 bigs. I think you can play 2 of them. Hustle needs to keep up. Rebounding was better but some teams are still gonna feast on us from 3.

I don’t think the starting lineup matters as much as one of MR or OB are coming off the bench. We’d be so tough starting a first team all PAC center and bringing our leading scorer off the bench. Or vice versa, doesn’t really matter, but we are so much better without two bigs on the floor. MM can drive on 4s, and get more open looks like tonight. Rice has so much more space to operate. Carlyle seems like a miss right now, but I think it’s also a side effect of being a shooting guard who can’t shoot. Defense is great though.
