Fire Coach Woodson Thread

You do not know, I would know.  Tell him Chris.

I don't need a second opinion of some fake insider to tell me that playing true road games at North Dakota and Kennesaw State isn't commonplace. Because it isn't. And it never will be.

We can agree to disagree…

Well the Yankees rehired Billy Martin after they fired him, so wouldn't be entirely unheard of.

I mean they hired and fired him like 5 times and I wouldn’t wish that on Woodson.

I haven´t really weighed in all that much about this...

IU men´s basketball is being run like an NBA franchise. Instead of hoping for good draft picks (HS recruits) we´re throwing $$$ into free agency (transfer portal) and hoping we can come up with a squad. There´s talent on this roster, likely the most we´ve had (especially in the backcourt) but it´s not going to change. We have one recruit for next year. Planning on going shopping again Iḿ sure...

The fact that Fife, Matta, and Adam Howard all left or were let go, paints a pretty clear picture to me.

I´m the type of person....I don´t care who the coach is...just win. Win games, compete for conferences titles and 2nd weekends. I´ve stated I want Chris Beard. Just my opinion, I know what others think and say no way. That´s fine, I respect your opinions too.

Also, IU football gear at school hits way different!!!!!! Let´s shock the non-IU world tonight!

We have only one recruit and 4 guys graduating. Probably another two leave
So again he would have to bring in like 6 new high priced mercenaries next spring. It's a crazy way to build a team.

I remember.  Unfortunately, it’s not going to work out at IU.

As soon as Woodson started ignoring Matta and Fife, and effectively cast them aside in favor of Sleepy Armond Hill, I knew this was a $#!+show.

Only person I blame for our failures is Mike Woodson. HIS execution was atrocious.

Allowing yourself to lose in, essentially, the same fashion for 3.5 years is the absolute most absurd thing I've witnessed.

Now THERE's some "sunshine" that I can get behind.

It's common when you have seniors that are from that area. Not every program does it, but it's more common than what you think.

Lol the greater good.

It’s good to see one of our own come on and have a chance to do something that’s for the greater good,” Buckner said. “I honestly believe, the fact he’s here, it’s for the greater good. Having success, it means a great deal to a great many people.”

I think there is a difference between "common" and "has happened before". I don't see it's common at all.

I also don't understand why this is being argued against Woodson... we don't have any SRs that deserve us going out of our way to play a game near where they grew up.

I'm all for taking jabs at Woodson, I don't see where this one applies to him, at all.

The women's program did it last year for Holmes.

Coach K used to do it at Duke back when having seniors was a thing.
