I appreciate a good antagonist, and being argumentative just for the sake of offering counterpoints, but AH1971 is just getting so old. This thread has been completely hijacked - for days - by his negativity and everyone interacting with him. 
 

This is supposed to be a highlight and fun in an otherwise crappy season, situation, state of program. If you wanna constantly be a Debbie downer, go somewhere else. And, yes, I DO just scroll past anything you have to say or any subsequent responses - it just takes a few pages to get through it all.  I happen to enjoy all the speculation and analysis of possibilities, regardless of how the odds of such stack up. Bash away, but I’m sure I’m not alone in this.

The wrong school announced its geriatric coach is stepping down after the season. 

 

Post after post from a Woodson apologist crapping on the fanbase. 

 

And I had to be careful reading this thread while at work because somebody posted a picture of some random coach and his wife and the damn thing got quoted like 20 times. 

 

 

Hopefully extending our losing streak in Madison to 20-something tomorrow night brings us some new material.

To follow up on this one of the years Pitino coached at Iona the MAAC was 16th out of 32 in the NET strength of conference. The Southland in that same year was 31 out of 32 in the NET strength of conference

I’ve been on the boards since the end of the Mike Davis era, along with running several of them. This might be the worst troll I’ve ever seen in this AH character… Wow this is bad, probably worse than Woodson’s coaching.

Almost to March, the end is near of this era of IU basketball. Really hope and pray IU gets it right this time!!

I just said the truth, he hasnt turned down that deal this time, yet. Full disclosure, i think there is a less than 5% chance Brad Stevens is the next coach, but I choose to at least believe there is a chance, because I have nothing else to get excited about with Indiana basketball.  Now, if they hire somebody who is 70 years old with no college coaching experience again, I can promise you... I will indeed have a meltdown.
