He also said just remember he went to the Sweet 16 to only get beat by Miami who was good that year.

The problem is Isiah that wasn't the Sweet 16

Coming from sports radio experience, the reality is he probably hasn’t watched a single game and only talked about Indiana basketball because the host brought it up lol

Dolson is going to need massive balls to fire this clown

It will he dolson against the machine. Hiring former players who are not good coaches is a god awful idea.

I do think he has Pam Whitten in his corner, whatever that is worth!

Yep he said IU has the right coach, just not the right players

With NIL it's very hard to win right away.

And he said at a job like IU you have to have someone who knows what it means to play at IU. Woody knows. Maybe he was pitching for May

There were rumors this past offseason about IU putting in a "GM" type role. This is not unusual now, several high majors have put something similar in place. Zeke says IU just doesn't have the right players...sounds to me like someone would like to join his fellow former players and help his buddy Woodson pick the right players. After all, Isiah has experience in a front office and was once a great player...what other qualifications could you possibly need to succeed? What could go wrong?

I don't know how much you are posting ends up being the truth or ends up as reality but I do appreciate giving me stuff to read to pass the day at work! Your stuff is much better than further moral arguments about Chris Beard and whether or not IU should/would hire him or arguing about whether or not one should be rooting for IU to lose or win and what difference it makes.

They say Woodson should go and also say that IU under him is basically a continuation of Miller stylistically. They're also in the group that thinks fans scaring off good coaches is BS.

It’s looking like this will be the old guards final stand.  Woody coaching is probably their last chance at controlling the program.    For years and years people have been saying IU needs to modernize certain aspects of the program but people with influence still think IU can get by in this day and age by being IU.  Look how hard it was for Archie to modernize the locker rooms.  You sucked at coaching but thanks for getting that ball rolling on that.  When and it is when not if they move on from Woody I would guess that the old guard will finally be driven out.   The ammo Dolson will have to show them ok we did it your way and here we are.   I’m guessing after the coaching change the IU program will change for the better

The caveat is the OLD Guard is very powerful. The buck stops with them and unfortunately Woodson is part of that group. Time will tell.

Delete this now. We can’t be giving the IU administration any ideas!!!

It is at my house. I'm going to be sober watching Purdue beat our brains in but can have a drink the next day

Well there you go, something to look forward to!  We all need a reason to drink, us getting our brains bashed by Purdue is a darn good one!  I may be on a drunken stupor for a week after that beat down!

Yea, the University President is a good thing to have!

And “Scott’s Way” delivered a packed Memorial Stadium, unprecedented national recognition in the one sport that matters most by a mile, and he is bringing in tens of millions of $ into the athletic dept., something no AD has done before.

Contrast that to the bball program tire fire.

People are likely going to listen to Scott this time around.

Been doing it 15 years or so... each year at midnight marking Feb 1, I have a shot to welcome myself back to normalcy...

Well that’s a long time, I guess I will wait until next year to start mine!
