It’s not my process but it’s the way things get done at IU. You’re obviously free to like it or not, but that doesn’t change any of that. Not sure why people are so offended by that.

Buyout is irrelevant. Purdue just fired a football coach they owe ~$10 million. I see no chance Woodson coaches here next season.

The problem is, she lost the plot completely when she states things like Woodson was more prepared to run a college program than Archie, and saying things like: He's a better coach than Tom Crean ever was.  Both of those are patently false. And she is still trying to claim all she said in this thread is he isn't going to be fired right now.  

She is right about him not being fired this month; but her sprinkling of absurd Mike Woodson opinions combined with the grammar policing has led to where we are now.

Fans had to try to convince themselves or the administration.  Dolson got to swing for Stevens. After he missed he was told by Buckner & Ferguson that Woody was the guy.

I don't think that's what he wants, but that doesn't matter. For much of the fanbase today, and the students at IU now, Mike Woodson the player only exists in dusty old pictures. They only know Mike Woodson the coach, the nepotism hire, the guy no one else was wanted to be head coach because of how bad he was/is.

The longer he's on the sidelines the more ruined his legacy will be, I don't think anyone wants that but it doesn't matter because the people that remember the player are aging out.

I hope Dolson is allowed to take a shot on multiple coaches this time if that’s the case. That’s not a real coaching search since the chances of Steven’s leaving was 1%

Tonight's game is what my officiating partners and I like to call a friends and family night. If you're not a family member of a player or close friend your probably not going. It's cold and it's on TV. CFP is also on and we would rather watch that.

You are correct he was never prepared to be a college coach. There are many stories that back this up

Did you ever hear if Matta was a 2nd choice (2nd to BS) by Dolson?  I was told by a Woodson connection that Matta's involvement was news to them and the source at least felt like Matta was a potential HC candidate vs just the AD assistant role.  At that point news was starting to leak that Woodson may be the guy when we also started to hear about Matta.    I think Goodman tweeted out something similar.
