Class of '66 Old Fart

I do think this game is winnable if Illinois plays poorly.  I know our record playing good teams on the road and neutral sites has been atrocious this year.  However, I don't think there is a huge talent gap between the teams.  We need big games from Reneau and Mgbako and we will need Illinois to miss a lot of open threes and free throws.

I’ll have what he’s having.

That’s the frustrating part, we have as much talent as most teams in the B10, but we don’t play like it

I thought that against Auburn.  I thought that against Nebraska.   I thought that against Rutgers.  I started to rethink that against Wisconsin.

'I have just begun to finish thinking' that at all.   (Partially quoting my brother as stated by him while he was sleepwalking at the age of 3.)

I have thrown the candystriped towel in when IU is playing on the road against ...anybody with a pulse.

This team is less than the sum of its parts. That is what has many frustrated even if they don't put it into those terms.

He has in the past. But this year not so much. But don't know if it's just me or just mad that he's ripping IU. He does seem to miss some obvious stuff.

He annoys me because he is overly critical of every team except one. Raphael Davis in the studio is also extremely annoying. He tells the same story about Painter's turnovers and assists strategy every time Purdue plays and when IU is losing he could not have a bigger smile on his face.

You know, if we could manage to steal one in Champagne tomorrow there’s a real possibility we take sole possession of third place. As frustrating as things have been, a win would make the toughest part of the schedule a little bit more bearable.

Without Ware? Slim chance.

One can dream I guess but very unlikely.

image.thumb.png.752e6245bbc5e7c291fa1d5086e9625e.pngWe have athletes. However, until they get confidence the ball is going in the hoop when they shoot…. We’re doomed. It seems to me our shooting is snake bit. Mostly psychological. Start with aiming at the broadside of the barn and tweak it from there…..

Come on HOOSIERS….

 LET’S GOOOOOO!!!

another chance to jumpstart the season awaits.  We are running out of these chances.  Our season isn’t dead yet but the seaons’s grim reaper is peeking in.
