This team is way to inconsistent for my liking. We should have lost not the best effort. Why play your hardest only in the last six minutes. I know there young but they need more fire in there belly.

Reminds me of a recent Todd Leary/Jim Coyle post game podcast in which Leary talked about a horrible game IU had against Minnesota. He said Knight basically just ignored it and didn’t even go over that film with the team.

That being said, there were a couple of differences between that team, and our current squad, including the fact that they had 5-6 really good shooters (I.e only 5-6 more than we have).

It looked like Reneau was yelling at/getting into it with someone from Morehead State toward the end? I saw Sparks tug at him to keep moving into the tunnel. What an UGLY game that was... I can't believe we were lucky enough to win. Coming out that flat is disappointing. 

They really need to win big vs the next two teams if for nothing else than analytics but also for my sanity lol

I heard CBK say the wrong team won after bad performance wins. This one definitely qualities. No one in our locker room should feel good about tonight. I really enjoyed Lathan having the game of his life. Looked like he was having fun, something I never saw on our guys faces.

You'd have fun too if you were facing our 3pt "defense". Which is just hoping they miss.

That was a bad win, IMO. I don’t know if that is such a thing, maybe.  We were darn lucky we pulled that one out.  We played with little to no energy for most of the game and defensive rebounding is still a major issue with a team that has a lot of size.  And teams hitting a lot of 3’s against us and a player going off on us and having a career scoring night is a big problem.  Morehead State deserved to win that game but I am glad we won.
