Didn't realize we were discussing new practice facility in the ND thread.

New practice facility needs to happen, but I want a structure for suits, too. Our stadium still needs major upgrades, not necessarily major additions to large numbers of seats.... but there are LOTS of examples of structures built "on the outside of stadiums" that tie into the stadium and suits/pressbox/etc.

Paging Camp Randall Stadium! Their old press box is still up and it's a turd even compared to ours. I can't believe it's still there, but on the opposite side (our east side), they have boxes/offices/suites/ that literally run the length of the stadium. Probably 125 yards worth of facility there and 3+ levels above the stands.

Never been to Camp Randall, but hard for me to picture a turd-ier press box than ours.

10ish years ago I spent a lot of time in it, and they always served what appeared to be gas station grab n go sandwiches and lukewarm chocolate chip cookies, lol

yuuuuup. Camp Randall, even Notre Dame stadium are good examples of stadiums that have structures built to connect to attach to their venue.

This is from 2003 and other than a name slapped on the front, it hasn't changed.

I just don't see why we couldn't build that exact structure on our east side? That is just straight suits, right?

I believe it's where their athletic department and all of that is located too. It's been a while since I was there...I think that may be the more closed looking building in the top right of the picture. Top left I believe is the weight room/dining and their indoor is connected from there, but that's stuff we already have in-place in a pretty good setup, other than the indoor.

If any of you have companies that might be interested in a corporate sponsorship, they are not that expensive.  I had the unfortunate experience of managing that for my prior company during what had to be some of the poorest football and basketball periods and we never could get people to go.  This is a few years old now but we only paid ~ $200k/year and got season football tix, about 15 bball games and some additional perks like giving out a game ball, doing a radio spot with Fischer, taking a group of customers to a basketball practice, coaches panel etc. Now that football is good, that is a value if the pricing is the same.  We had floor seats for BBall and during football games we would get to go down on the field for part of the game.

A similar sponsorship with the colts was about the same pricing but you got more promotional partnerships.

If anyone has an interest I can connect you with the contacts.

Some noted that the bison was present in all of our social media posts releasing the 2025 schedule last week as a sign it might be on the horizon.
